Sequins
Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 16, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Sequins (the "Service"), a mobile app operated by The Bradley Project LLC ("Sequins," "we," "us," or "our") that connects drag performers, hosts/venues, and fans for event discovery, booking, and ticketing. By creating an account or using Sequins, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Sequins. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
Sequins is a marketplace and discovery platform that allows:
- Fans to discover drag events, purchase tickets, follow performers, and tip
- Performers to create profiles, list availability, sell marketplace items and commissions, and receive booking requests, tips, and payouts
- Hosts/venues to create events, book talent for roles (performer, MC/host, DJ, door, tip collector, photographer, makeup artist, and other roles), sell tickets, and pay event-day staff
Sequins is a platform that facilitates connections and transactions between independent third parties. We are not a party to the agreements between performers, hosts, venues, and fans — for example, a booking arrangement between a host and a performer is between those users, not with Sequins.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your profile or listings.
- You may not create an account on behalf of someone else without authorization, or impersonate any person or entity.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. User Content
"User Content" means anything you post, upload, or submit through Sequins — profile information, photos, bios, event listings, marketplace listings, booking requests, and similar content.
- You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting it, you grant Sequins a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it within the Service for the purpose of operating and promoting Sequins (for example, showing your performer profile or event listing to other users).
- You are solely responsible for your User Content and must have the rights necessary to post it.
- You agree not to post content that:
- Is illegal, fraudulent, or infringes another person's intellectual property or privacy rights
- Harasses, threatens, or discriminates against any individual or group
- Impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation
- Contains sexually explicit content beyond what is appropriate for the app's content rating
- Promotes illegal activity
- We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these standards, at our discretion.
5. Bookings, Tickets & Payments
All payments on Sequins — ticket purchases, marketplace and commission sales, tips, Sequins Pro subscription charges, promoted-placement payments, and event-staff payments — are processed through Stripe. By making or receiving a payment on Sequins, you also agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement and Stripe's own terms. Sequins is a facilitator of these transactions, not a party to the underlying sale between a buyer and a host, performer, or seller.
Service fee
Sequins charges a service fee on ticket sales and marketplace/commission sales (items or custom work sold through a performer's marketplace listings):
- The fee starts at 7% of the sale price.
- The fee scales down the more a host or seller uses Sequins — measured by shows posted (for ticket sales) or items/commissions sold (for marketplace sales) — to a floor of 4%.
- The exact volume thresholds for each tier are set by Sequins and may be updated from time to time; current thresholds, your tier, and your progress toward the next tier are shown in your host/seller dashboard in the app.
Tips are never subject to this fee. 100% of any tip goes to the performer.
Event-staff payments are never subject to this fee. When a host pays event-day staff (e.g., DJs, door staff, photographers, makeup artists) through the app's roster payment feature, 100% of the agreed amount is passed through to that staff member's connected Stripe account. Event-day staff paid this way are independent contractors engaged by the host, not employees or agents of Sequins.
Refunds and cancellations
Sequins facilitates the transaction between the buyer and the seller (host or performer) — refund decisions belong to the seller, within the structure below:
- When creating a ticketed event or a marketplace/commission listing, a host or performer can set a refund window (e.g., "refunds accepted up to 7 days before the event"). Buyers can request a refund through the app up until that window closes.
- Alternatively, a host or performer can mark a listing "All Sales Are Final," in which case no refunds are offered through the app for that listing, and this is disclosed to the buyer before purchase. If no policy is set, the listing defaults to being refundable any time before the event or before the seller fulfills the order.
- If an event is cancelled by the host, Sequins will make a full refund request available to affected ticket holders regardless of the listing's stated refund window.
- Refund requests are reviewed and approved or denied by the host or seller in the app; Sequins does not independently arbitrate refund disputes beyond facilitating the request and the Stripe refund itself. The underlying obligation to deliver the event, item, or commission is between the buyer and the seller.
- Booking requests between hosts and performers are agreements between those users. Sequins does not guarantee that a booked performer will appear, that an event will occur as listed, or the quality or safety of any event. Any dispute about a booking, cancellation, or no-show is between the parties involved.
6. Events & Venues
Event details (date, time, location, price) are provided by the hosts/organizers who create the listing. Sequins does not independently verify event details and is not responsible for cancellations, changes, or inaccuracies in listings. Always confirm event details directly with the host or venue before attending.
7. Subscriptions (Sequins Pro)
Sequins offers an optional paid subscription, Sequins Pro, for hosts.
- Free tier: hosts may post up to one new event per month, with recurring events limited to a monthly cadence.
- Sequins Pro: unlimited event posts and recurring events at any cadence (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly), billed on a recurring basis through Stripe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from Profile > Subscription. Cancelling stops future renewal charges; it does not refund amounts already charged for the current billing period unless required by law.
- Subscription pricing is shown in the app before you subscribe and may change from time to time; we will provide notice of price changes as required by law.
8. Promoted Placement
Hosts and performers may pay a one-time fee, processed through Stripe, to have an event or performer profile featured in a promoted position within the app's Discover feed for a limited time period. Promoted placement is a paid visibility feature only — it does not guarantee bookings, ticket sales, or any specific outcome. Promoted status automatically expires at the end of the paid period.
9. Intellectual Property
The Sequins name, logo, and app design are owned by The Bradley Project LLC. Except for User Content, you may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our permission.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY EVENT, BOOKING, OR LISTING WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.
SEQUINS DOES NOT CONTROL AND IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT OF ANY USER, PERFORMER, HOST, OR VENUE, ON OR OFF THE APP, INCLUDING AT ANY EVENT DISCOVERED THROUGH THE SERVICE.
Event Attendance — Assumption of Risk
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Sequins is a technology platform that connects event organizers, performers, and fans. We are not the organizer, producer, venue operator, or host of any event listed on the platform, and we do not supervise, direct, control, or monitor any event. Attendance at events, and performance at events, is entirely at your own risk. By using Sequins to discover or book events, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Events listed on Sequins are independently organized by third-party hosts who are solely responsible for the safety, operation, and management of their events.
- Sequins makes no representations or warranties about the safety, accessibility, quality, legality, or suitability of any event listed on the platform.
- Performers and event-day staff who accept bookings through Sequins travel to and work at events as independent contractors. Sequins is not responsible for your transportation, personal safety, working conditions, the conduct of other attendees or performers, venue conditions, or any injuries, illness, loss of property, or other damages arising from your attendance at or work/performance in any event.
- Real-world events carry inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, property damage, and exposure to hazardous conditions. You assume all such risks.
If you have a safety concern about an event, contact the event host directly, local emergency services, or law enforcement as appropriate. Sequins does not provide emergency response services.
11. Our Safe Space Policy
Sequins is an explicitly LGBTQ+-affirming platform. We have zero tolerance for hate speech, misgendering, deadnaming, or harassment targeting any member of the drag or LGBTQ+ community. Violations will result in immediate account suspension. We reserve the right to remove any content or user we determine to be harmful to our community, at our sole discretion.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE BRADLEY PROJECT LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOST PROFITS, OR LOSS OF DATA — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ATTENDANCE AT OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY EVENT FACILITATED THROUGH THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Bradley Project LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
14. Termination
You may stop using Sequins and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Arbitration agreement. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Sequins will be resolved through binding arbitration in Oregon, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. The arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider (e.g., the American Arbitration Association), and judgment on the arbitrator's award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class action waiver. You and Sequins agree that any dispute will be brought only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of Sequins after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
